Cookie Policy
Last update: 15 January 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which types we use on ecadorado.com, for what purpose and how you can manage them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used to remember preferences, measure site usage or serve personalised content. We also use similar technologies such as local storage.
2. Categories used
We distinguish four categories: (a) necessary, which enable basic operation of the site; (b) functional, which remember your language and preferences; (c) analytics, which measure site usage in aggregate; (d) marketing, which allow relevant content and ads.
3. Legal basis
Necessary cookies are served on the basis of our legitimate interest. Other categories require your prior consent, granted in the cookie banner shown on the first visit. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2 to transmit to Google services the state of your consent (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, functionality_storage, security_storage and personalization_storage). By default all non-necessary states are set to “denied” until you decide otherwise.
5. Duration
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies may last up to 12 months. On expiry or withdrawal of consent they are removed automatically.
6. How to manage cookies
You can accept, reject or customise your preferences in the banner shown on your first visit, or reopen it from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
7. Providers used
Services currently or potentially used: (a) Google Analytics 4 (analytics), (b) Google Ads and Meta Ads (marketing, only if you enable that category), (c) infrastructure providers to serve the site (necessary).
8. Updates
This Cookie Policy is reviewed when new providers or regulatory changes appear. The update date is shown at the top of the document.
9. Contact
Write to hola@ecadorado.com if you have any doubts about our cookies or wish to exercise your rights as a personal data subject.
